SubManager+

SubManager+ is a one-time payment granting you access to additional features. You can purchase either for yourself or for the entire family using Family Sharing. For more information about Family Sharing, please refer to the Apple Support website.

Please note that due to technical limitations, changing the app icon is not available on macOS and visionOS.

SubManager+ should automatically unlock for all the devices linked to your Apple Account. If you purchased SubManager+ Family, it should automatically be unlocked for all your family’s devices. If you find it isn’t unlocking on one of your devices, try the following:

  • Use the Restore option at the top right of the SubManager+ screen
  • Force close and reopen the app
  • Reboot your device

Platform availability

iPhone and iPad

The iOS app requires iOS/iPadOS 17 or later. The last version to support iOS/iPadOS 16 was 1.6.5.

Mac

The macOS app requires macOS Sonoma or later. The last version to support macOS Ventura was 1.6.5.

Apple Watch

The Apple Watch app requires watchOS 10 or later.

Apple Vision Pro

The Apple Vision Pro app requires visionOS 26 or later. The last version to support visionOS 2 was 1.6.5.

Web Viewer

The web viewer is accessible at web.submanager.app and is compatible with all major web browsers.

Windows users can also install the PWA from the Microsoft Store.

Image Playground

The ability to generate custom icons using Image Playground is only available on devices that support Apple Intelligence, including:

  • iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max
  • All iPhone 16 models
  • All iPhone 17 models
  • iPhone Air
  • iPad mini with A17 Pro chip
  • All iPad Air and iPad Pro models with M chip
  • All Apple Silicon Macs
  • Apple Vision Pro

You must also be running at least iOS 18.2 (iOS 18.4 if you are in the EU), macOS 15.2 or visionOS 2.4, and be enrolled in the Apple Intelligence and Image Playground features. The option won’t show in the custom icon menu unless you meet all the requirements.

Once saved as part of a subscription, it can be viewed on any device, including those that don’t support Apple Intelligence.

Deleting Mac app data

Unlike iOS and visionOS, the app data may not be deleted upon uninstallation of the app. Below are the folders that you can also delete:

  • ~/Library/Containers/com.ip18.SubManager
  • ~/Library/Group Containers/group.com.ip18.SubManager

Restart your Mac once you deleted the folders.

Feature Roadmap

Feature roadmap has moved! You can now access a list of requested and planned features directly via the app by going to Settings -> Feature Requests.
